Merlin record shows service with 1 RTR (1ST ROYAL TANK REGIMENT) 1988-1997, with periods at Vehicle Depot Ludgershall, JSCS Ashchurch, and ABRO Warminster for planned repair. Last Merlin movement October 1997 back to 1 RTR. Previously recorded at Normandy Barracks, Sennelager, Germany; confirmed relocated to Bulford Barracks February 2026. Displayed in Army/NATO Green Disruptive Pattern IRR, gun barrel fitted with camouflage wrap cover.
