Notes

Private owner, UK show circuit. Chieftain Mk10, contract KL/A/0217 (ROF Leeds built), entered service 1 September 1966. Merlin records service with SCOTS DG (ROYAL SCOTS DRAGOON GUARDS) 1988 (contractor loan ref R00055), then RH (ROYAL HUSSARS) November 1988, before transfer to Vehicle Depot Ludgershall 1990 and nominal disposal May 1993 (RIV L10044, RCP 999). No cast flag set in Merlin, suggesting vehicle left the disposal stream without formal write-off. Confirmed running at Tanks Trucks and Firepower show, Westonbirt Arboretum, Gloucestershire, 27 August 2025, described as running poorly and emitting heavy exhaust smoke.
