Chieftain AVRE. Not in Merlin. Contract FVP/44/67 (inferred from neighbouring FD-series vehicles 01FD16, 01FD17, 01FD19, 01FD20 which all share this contract and March 1971 date in service). Photographed during recovery operation at Tank Museum Bovington, January/February 2021, in the same batch as 02EB07, 00FB02, 05EB15, 03EB02 and 01FD08. Tank Museum has been reviewing its Chieftain collection for significance. Scrapping of hull reported but unconfirmed.
