Despite Merlin showing disposal at VDL March 1993 with cast flag Y, vehicle is confirmed surviving in private ownership. Attended the War and Peace Show at Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent in 2011, confirmed running and driving. Previously noted at the East England Tank Museum (Ian Greenwood) in the late 1990s (tankmuseum.com Chieftain list). Current location unknown.
