Chieftain AVLB Mk2 Prototype, entered service November 1968. One of three AVLB prototypes (00FB02, 00FB03, 00FB04). Merlin records JSCS Ashchurch September 2003, then final movement April 2004 to AIR WEAPONS RANGE RAF TAIN with RCP 999 — confirmed sent as a range target. Almost certainly destroyed on range. PDF vehicle register noted all three prototypes were used for driver training prior to disposal.
